I · The Bookshop

Pull up a chair.

Books for every reader, from timeless classics to contemporary favorites, and a big children's section at the heart of the shop. The coffee is Guatemalan, small-batch roasted, and there are pastries to go with it. Coming soon: espresso drinks with literary names, a full kitchen, and the only scooped ice cream in town.

Inside the shop: red-draped tables of picture books and gifts under iron candle chandeliers, on a herringbone wood floor.
The Hocus Pocus gift set: the official cookbook and an apron, boxed.

Coming up at the shop

Cook the Book

Monday, October 19 · 6:30–8:30 pm

Buy a ticket ($40, online or in the shop) and get the Hocus Pocus cookbook at 30% off. Pick a recipe, cook it, and bring it to share. We'll gather for a feast and trivia, with prizes for best dish, best costume, and trivia champion.

II · The Rooms Up There

Stay up there.

The only place to stay in Marshall.

Three king suites above the café, each with a marble bath and walk-in shower. Guests have their own door, and you might wake up to the smell of coffee. Near the wineries and Old Town Warrenton.
